Fix common issues affecting Internet Explorer
If you are using Internet Explorer and are experiencing suboptimal performance, complete all four actions below.
Allow toolbars and extensions
1. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy.
2. Ensure that "Disable Toolbars and Extensions when in Private Browsing starts" is not checked.
3. Go to the Security tab.
4. Make sure Security level is set to Medium-High. If it is Custom, click "Default Level."
5. Click "OK."
Delete browsing history
1. Go to Safety > Delete Browsing History (in IE7, Tools > Delete Browsing History).
2. Make sure both "Temporary Internet Files" and "Cookies" are checked.
3. Click "Delete".
Confirm Cooliris is enabled
1. Go to Tools > Manage Add-ons.
2. Make sure both Cooliris extensions are Enabled.
Ensure Cooliris is compatible for all views (for IE8 only)
1. Go to Tools > Compatibility View Settings.
2. Remove "cooliris.com" from the list, if it is listed.
3. Uncheck the box "Include updated website lists from Microsoft."
4. Click "Close."
5. Go to res://iecompat.dll/iecompatdata.xml in your browser.
6. Verify that Cooliris doesn't appear anywhere in the list.
When you've completed the above, close all IE Windows and restart your computer.
